Our pool opens Memorial Day Weekend May 29th 2021

We will continue to follow all Covid-19 health and safety procedures that we adopted for the pool season 2020. These procedures included cleaning during the day, six feet markers, and limited chair use. It is also expected that patrons adhere to the mask mandate from the Governor if they are unable to remain six feet apart. 


We will start to sell passes for our 2021 pool season with some changes.

The pool schedule is different. We will be open to patrons for weekends. A weekend is defined as Saturday and Sunday. Monday thru Friday pool hours have been added with restricted times from 5pm-8pm during the pool season for 2021. The pool season begins on May 29th and continues to Labor Day September 6th

We will be selling all summer passes. 

Fees have been adjusted based on the new schedule. 

  • Family pass for summer $350

  • Individual pass for the summer $250


We will be selling a limited number of passes.

There is a $25 discount if you sign up before Memorial Day, May 29th 2021

Once you have signed purchased a pass, a schedule, and updated pool rules will be mailed to the address provided on file. Covid-19 guidelines will be mailed at a later date.

Thank you for your continued support. The health and safety of all who use New Hope Camp and Conference Center is and always will our priority.

  • Pool passes are issued to a household or individual and are non-refundable. 

  • Pool passes are sold on weekend and evening basis from May 29th - September 6th 2021. Weekend is defined as a Saturday and Sunday. An evening is defined as Monday - Friday from 5pm - 8pm. 

  • THE CAMP SPEED LIMIT IS 10 MPH.  This speed limit must be adhered to at ALL times.  Failure to do so will result in immediate termination of pool privileges.

  • Pool Pass should be shown to a lifeguard and kept clipped on the outside of a pool bag for easy identification.

  • The pool will open on Saturday at 10:30am and on Sunday at 12:30pm. Pool will close at 8pm nightly.  

  • Adult swim is scheduled every hour for 10 minutes on the 50 minute point of an hour.  Young infants cannot be in the pool with their parent at adult swim. 

  • Parking will be near the pool and the playground as well as the parking area near the upper end of playground. Do not drive between the playground and bath house as there are many children playing and visibility is limited. There is a road behind the pool allowing for easier access to parking. 

  • Pool pass holders will be allowed only in the area of the pool, the playground and the bathhouse, all other parts of camp are closed. Please clean up the area of the bathhouse after use.  

  • The back pavilion adjacent to the pool is a rentable facility and its usage is not part of pool pass privileges.  To use this pavilion, reservations must be made and a deposit paid in advance through the office. Pool pass members may use the picnic tables near the playground for meals and snacks. 

  • Everyone entering the pool enclosure MUST SIGN IN at the gate. Be prepared to show your pool pass and proof of identity.  Everyone leaving the pool enclosure MUST SIGN OUT.

  • Shower and/or wash feet before entering the pool enclosure.

  • No food or drinks are allowed inside the pool enclosure. No glass of any kind is allowed.

  • Alcoholic beverages, tobacco products and other drugs are prohibited at New Hope Camp and Conference Center, Inc and use of these items at the pool area is grounds for dismissal from the property. In addition the pool pass will be voided with no refund.

  • No pets are allowed anywhere on the premises.

  • Profanity, derogatory and/or demeaning comments, improper behavior, and intoxication are prohibited. Pass holders or guests exhibiting these behaviors will be asked to leave the pool and camp property. 

  • Horseplay, including, but not limited to, running, splashing, dunking, wrestling, or shoving, is strictly prohibited.

  • Children 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult 18 or older.  Adults must stay with the children and are responsible for their behavior.

  • Children under 11 will be required to take a deep end test prior to being allowed to swim in this area. This test includes swimming across the deep end and treading water for 1 minute.

  • Children/infants not toilet trained must wear swimmies (waterproof diapers). 

  • No objects of any kind will be thrown inside the pool enclosure.  

  • Flotation devices are discouraged; any use of these devices will be at the discretion of the lifeguard. New Hope Camp and Conference Center is not responsible for the damage and/or loss of these items

  • There shall be no diving except in the deep (11 ft) end of the pool along the long wall.  Unsafe jumping or diving in any area of the pool is prohibited. 

  • Only the pool staff is allowed in the Lifeguards’ deck locker, guard shack and on the lifeguard stand.

  • Instructions by the lifeguard must be obeyed at all times.  The lifeguard is responsible for the safety of all patrons, and has final authority for enforcement of the rules.  Please do not distract the lifeguard while on an observation post.  

Additional Rules based on COVID-19 Requirements

  • Maximum occupancy for the pool is 85 people.  

  • Keep your family group’s seating area 6 feet apart from other families, there will be markers on the fence every 6 feet to help serve as a reminder.  

  • Keep your distance from other family groups while inside the pool.

  • If anyone in your family has had any symptoms (cough, fever, rash or shortness of breath) please do not bring your family to the pool until symptoms have been gone for at least 72 hours.  

  • There will be markings by the lifeguard stands, please do not cross over these markings.

  • Please do not share pool toys or floats with other families.  

  • There will be hand sanitizer at the check in table, please use it before signing in.  

  • If there is a family signing in while you arrive, please wait 6 feet from them while you wait your turn.


  • Cleaning will follow OC Health Department guidelines.  

  • Take all trash and belongings with you when leaving the pool area so that lifeguards can clean properly between guests.
